Remember the old Pareto rule: 80% of your revenue will be generated by 20% of your customers.
It is, therefore, vitally important to look after that 20% and effective email communication is one of the best, most cost-effective and trackable methods available to you today.
Never take it for granted that your best clients will remain loyal to you. Your competitors will be forever snapping at your heels, so take the time to:
- Thank your best clients for their custom;
- Offer them something that other customers don't get - special discounts, pre-launch discounts on new products, invitations to events etc.;
- Be daring and ask them to recommend you to friends;
- Keep the lines of communication open!
The best way to enhance the customer experience is to send relevant emails. If the customer is getting things they perceive to be of benefit, then they will be more happy to receive them.
